Postby Netherrealmer » 02 Aug 2018, 10:08

Lara Croft is one of the most Iconic video game characters of all time. She is originally and arrogant and sexy rich heiress who is an archeologist as a hobby. She use to wear super sexy outfits on her adventures.

After Tomb raider is rebooted, They decided to make her a realistic woman. Instead of arrogant, she is this survivor who is trying survive and save the world. Her arrogance is gone, she is now afraid all the time but fights her fears. They also desexualized her. Her boobs became smaller, her outfits became realistic. She is still a strong character but acts more like a real woman. They also made her more compassionate.

On her latest upcoming game, Shadow of the Rob raider, They decided to make her more conservative, She is wearing long sleeve Jackets now.

They wanted to make her look like a real warrior, so she shows less skin and she looks dirty covered in mud.

Oh yeah, I remember they removed the girls who raises the flag because feminists thinks it's sexist. Now those girls have no jobs anymore thanks to the feminists. They want women to be desexualized but men are sexualized on their soap operas and dramas.

I won't be shocked if Lara Croft will be wearing hijab on a future sequel.

Yeah all started because of Anita Sarkeesian and her pesky Youtube channel managed to get mainstream media attention. She is like the ultimate enemy of gamers because she influenced the industry so badly.

Haters do most problem to everybody: F1, videogames, etc. It's easy to find few people and they will start posting bad comments about it and ruin reputation.

The most annoying thing is the feminists who makes these complaints are not even fans of these pop cultures. Sexy female characters is part of male geek culture. Just like how good looking shirtless men are staples for soap operas for women. Men don't complain about those sexualized and idealized male characters. So why are they complaining about characters from games they don't even play. Female gamers dont give a damn about sexy female characters, they even cosplay it. So the feminists are forcing this desexualization on a media they don't play.

Next victim of desexualization..... Claire Redfield of Resident evil.
Feminist thinks T-shirts with vest and jean shorts for a college student is oppressing to women.

so on the Resident evil 2 remake, she will be wearing a Long Sleeves jackets and jeans.

Claire is not even a sexy character, yes she shows skin but she is an innocent college girl. Many college girls dress that way. They also made her uglier when she got older at Revelations 2 but that is understandable because she is older there. The remake though.

Another Resident evil character is a victim of desexualization.

Ada Wong is Leon Kennedy's love interest. She seduced him with her favorite outfit of her choice. A red dress. SHe always wear a red dress on every game she starred on.

Image

To appease the feminists.

She is now going to wear a trench coat.....

Image

She is a spy pretending to be a civilian and a femme fatale now she looks like an angry hotel customer who wants to call the manager to complain.

What is next?

Iconic female characters will wear hijabs and abayas.
