Google collects every kind of information even when you say no. You have closed all doors and windows and yet it has the ability to record every conversation, every message bla bla bla

Anyway to stop them from doing it?

I don't care much because definitely, google won't be interested in my low profile information.

Google is a business and they're in the game to make money. They don't care about you whether you have a low or high profile. They probably watch or monitor their competitors but I don't think they've stooped so low as to sneak "spies" into the camp. The Google folks are law-abiding citizens, so If you're being monitored, no doubt some law enforcement official or other authority figure approached them, flashed a badge and a some sort of "official paper" in their faces and ordered them to keep eyes on you! Google likely complies with the request by "The Authority". After all what they request is LEGAL. Isn't it?? :silent: :eh:

Why do people point a finger at Google being the Big Brother? Because Google is in the public eye and because nobody can see the real Big Brother operating behind the scenes. Ever heard the words "confidential", "secret", "classified", "nondisclosure agreement", and such like? The words conveniently come in handy when violating the privacy rights of others who are deemed "suspicious" or "suspect".

Whether you care or not and whether your profile is high or low, Google doesn't make any distinction. This is what I see from media reports and online news.

I am no celebrity either but the moment I search for something that site gets Advertised on any writing site where I am a user. Reports have it that even if you go incognito they have ways to find you.

Just imagine your online life without Google! They are keeping you informed and educated on almost everything because they know where you are. I know even if you deny access to your location they give you related data and direction without even you asking for it.

LOL.  I know what you're saying and I know how you feel but I have to go along with Sting on this.

… Pick my brains pick my pockets
Steal my eyeballs and come back for the sockets
Run every kind of test from A to Z

And you'll still know nothing 'bout me

So the systems are gathering all kinds of gobble-dee gook ABOUT me. But they still don't KNOW me.

It's not about all and sundry but Google do it to help you about different things. Do you think Google shares your info with me? No way!!!
