Thanks to drone technology , A footage of an Isolated Tribe got taken.

Postby Netherrealmer » 31 Aug 2018, 19:21

This news just shows the potential of the drone technology and how it can change the world.

The Amazon forest have the nickname "Lungs of the earth". It got that moniker because a huge percentage of oxygen in our planet came from that forest. That forest is so big that it's territory covers multiple countries like Brazil,Venezuela, Colombia,Peru and Bolivia. Many regions of this forest are still uncharted and explored by humans. There are tribes that lives in the Amazon forest that never had any interaction with the outside world. Many researchers wanted to know how these uncontacted tribes live but there is a danger of them being hostile to strangers or the strangers becoming a danger of them because of diseases they are not immune to.

There is a Brazilian indigenous affairs agency known as Funai have the intention to protect indigenous people from losing their habitats and preserve their culture. They also help them protect their territories from people who have intention to steal them from them like those businessmen who manage to deceive indigenous people to cell their ancestral lands. There are so many isolated tribes in Brazil and there is no assurance if they are friendly or hostile.

Many Isolated tribes wanted to remain undisturbed so visiting them might be dangerous. Now outsiders can observe the daily lives of these Isolated tribes without fully disturbing them or putting lives of people in danger thanks to the drone technology. A footage of an uncharted Isolated tribe got taken by these aerial drones flying around the Amazon forest.

Here is a footage of the Tribe taken by drones.

This footage shows how impressive the drone technology had improved as the people of this Isolated tribe never noticed the drone spying on their daily routine.

The Brazilian Government wanted to keep these people protected but they will not disturb them nor dare contact them because they want their culture to remain uncorrupted.

The Drone technology is one of the fastest rising technologies used for filming videos. This flying robot cameras might be also used to help investigate the Sentinelese people from Sentinel Island. It is an Island found between India and Thailand. The Sentinel Island is also a place where an Isolated tribe known as Sentinelese are known to be hostile and violent against strangers. When rescuers tried giving them food via helicopter after a Tsunami, the Sentinelese people tried attacking the helicopter with spears, bows and arrows.

The life of this unfriendly tribe can now be investigated with the help of aerial drones. The Drones are one of the fastest rising technology every created as it's industry is worth $46 billion a year. Being Able to get footage of an Isolated tribe shows the potential of what a drone can do. For Now drones are used for taking videos but there had been plans to make drones deliver packages. At this moment drones are usually used for hobbies and taking videos various uses but this latest breakthrough shows what this technology will be able to achieve for the future.

Through drones we can see things that we never saw before and with a perspective that we never had access...
There are pros and cons :)
I hope they keep the promise and don't disturb this people in the future...

Can you imagine those poor people if they had noticed the drone above, Im surprised they didnt hear it, they would of thought it was the gods trying to come take them away, and probably would of been shooting arrows at it

I just hope that they leave these people alone, they are out in the middle of nowhere for a reason, they dont want to be by other people

Yes, Drones have very important role to play in areal photography ! Today the drones are used in various social functions to record the video, they are used to keep a track of criminals and they are further used to spy by military people! Thanks!

Well the potential is good. However, I have two doubts/concerns:
1.Is it moral to "spy" using drone on tribes which otherwise do not want to get in contact with outside world?
2.If a tribe like the one in Sentinel Island does not takes help even during calamity, and even attacks helicopters providing help, won't they be hostile towards drones, or would it help anyways?
But yes, a drone can help a person stranded on a remote island, or deep forest in times of emergencies like Floods, Tsunamis, Earthquake etc.

Yes, criminals and Terror operatives need to be beware of drones. And of course spies can use them.
So, we can have both good and bad uses of this Technology too!

I too had this concern. It does appear that people who supposedly are not 'civilized' do not deserve the general respect due to all humanity. In other words it's fine to "spy" on them, whether they like it or not. Like you stated though, there is good and there is bad.

I dont agree with that at all. Everyone deserves respect, especially to those that have done no wrong. They wish to just be left alone what is the harm?

Now if they were visiting other areas and killing their people then yes for sure!

But everyone has an opinion, that is yours, this is mine :)

What is the opinion you are referencing to as being mine? Is it possible you do not understand the comment I made as a response to a concern @ptrikha21 had? I think if you go back and read the entire comment without a focus on the piece you chose to quote you will understand what was written. If you are still of the understanding that what you quoted was my opinion please feel free to let me know. I will be more than happy to break it down. I genuinely believe your comment is innocent so I will further explain if necessary. Thanks.
