What Hardware Problems You Had So Far With Your Computer?

Postby A K Rao » 05 Sep 2018, 03:52

When I had my Desktop, which is still there but I am not using it, I had to change the RAM card one time.

Having purchased my Laptop I had to change my charger three times as it has gor failed because of Voltage spike which is very common in my area as we are being supplied with rural electricity feeder!

Have you ever faced any hardware problems with your Computers? If yes, What were the problems? Thanks!

When I had a desktop, I used to have many problems.. I remember the keyboard was not working properly so I changed it once.. Then the RAM problem was biggest one.. I can't even recall how many times I had repaired and changed it. Once the UPS was stopped working and I bought a new one. The CD drive in CPU was not working properly, along with some other problems like motherboard and all so I bought a new CPU. Finally I couldn't afford the repair and replacement charges any more and I sold that system.

I cannot play games with HD graphics. I need to have a new graphics card. Oh I want a capture card too so I can work for Switch.

I often face Ram problems and system beeps several times. This problem is solved with Ram cleaning process. I also face windows installation problem in laptops whenever I try to install windows 7 in newer laptops.

Why do you do that? Is it something you do for clients or for your own use?

The only hardware-problems I can think-of are 'connecting it to the internet' and 'hooking up the speakers.' (And I never use a printer, but I'd probably have problems with that if I ever hooked that up.)

Although it might be 'software'; does programming still count as 'software' if you store it on the hard-disk?
