Are there rules against cyberbullying?

Postby Abigael » 10 Sep 2018, 18:36

Cyberbullying is becoming a great problem in this technological era. I would love to know if there are policies against it.

In my country, there are cyber bullying laws already. But being in the cyber world and being a high technology, sometimes it is difficult to know if a crime was already committed. I think it will be more of a personal integrity and credibility and respect towards a person.

There are forums where rude behaviour is condemned and myLot and Forumcoin are such forums. It is more in the interest of sites that there should be content that is devoid of rude behaviour and if you are referring to this as cyber bullying, I agree with you. There was plenty of that in myLot and now with the delete option that has come down to almost nil.

Yes, there are rules on forums which dicourage such bullying! In real life use, if there is something happening like this the matter can be taken to Cyber Cops who deal with the culprit if the bullying is unbearable! Thanks!

Yes, I think there are laws against cyberbullying. It is another face of libel or slander cases. It's not easy to determine specially if a victim won't file a case against those poster.

It depends on the Admin. Also there should be a delete button as we see it at myLot. Admins should take seriously the wordy warfare between users.
