I think this technology is usually used by hackers to use your computer on your very front but I now experience the non evil aspect of it. I had issues with Skype today and the technical support of Skype as my permission to have remote access of your PC to fix my problem.
Holy smokes, the moment I agreed, My mouse cursor move on it's own. The technical support guy is using my PC and took over for a while. He is overseas but he fixed the problems of my computer.
There are actually repair people who can fix digital problems of a PC via remote access. Most of them works for some paid services but what Skype technical support did to me is free.
It is a creepy experience seeing my mouse cursor moving on its own and see someone else typing on my pc with a keyboard oceans away from me.
