VK is another social site similar to facebook. It is a Russian online social media and networking service. I am a member of it but I rarely visit the site because I have 0 friends there.

You may not only share videos but also photos and music on VKs timeline. You can add friends and send private messages too. You may also create communities. They have mobile version and application.

I don;t really use social networks in general. I have a Facebook account but I can often go a week+ without logging in. My employer has a Google+ based "community" so I sometimes use that but it feels like a mess. I don't know if that is due to G+ in general or just the way our staff community is. Everything just seems randomly displayed in no order whatsoever.

I've honestly never heard of an employer using Google Plus as a staff community. Do your colleagues use it?

I always log into Facebook myself but I'll very rarely post. When you don't post, when you do it's not seen by anyone... So there's kind of no point.

I was going to add VK.com as a social login option which kind of relates to another topic on here. As no one on ForumCoin uses it, it isn't a priority. I was also genuinely interested in whether any good Facebook alternatives were being used.

I hadn't heard of VK until I read this topic. I do have a Facebook account but am really not active there and sometimes a week or more will pass without me looking at Facebook. I do enjoy LinkedIn and find myself spending more time there, for me it's a good way of keeping up to date with technology and business news and with professional contacts.
