Have just joined a few websites like Rapidworkers . There are many jobs that require to create gmail accounts on a large scale there.Never attempted to complete this job. But I was wondering how one can create so many gmail or yahoo accounts without being asked for the phone verification
at one time you could, but for a couple years now they have stopped allowing that without the phone verification. Probably because so many people were creating them for spam. There might be a way around that but Im not aware of one
Phone verification has become mandatory in most sites. They send one time password or some codes on phone. So I don't think Gmail will work without phone verification.

Yes indeed. Without realizing it I was already on the gMail bandwagon. I don't remember being asked for a phone number when I created my gMail. I don't remember when I started using gMail but some of my messages go back to 2013. So it's been at least 5 years
If I remember right I created my gmail account in 2006 and it never asked me for my phone number then. However, if you want to use gmail on your phone your number goes to them without them asking for it. You can create any number of accounts with same phone number.
