At one time they were sending the profile pics of persons who were friends of my friends. I would go through individually and click 'X' to delete them. The next day I log on it would be the same thing. Then I started deleting them all at once by removing the suggestion 'title' itself.
Just when I thought they had run out of people to suggest, they started sending me images of random naked people, informing me that I may know them. Well no, I don't know them and would rather keep it that way. It's not the nakedness of these individuals that I have a problem with. It's just the idea of someone else making the recommendation that I should befriend them.
As if that weren't enough, now I am receiving a new, deceptive style of introduction to these suggestions. This one says "You have a friend suggestion from (name of my cousin's) post. So really, the suggestion is not from my cousin but from his post. Have you ever heard of such a thing?
I tried everything I could think of to block these kind of notifications. What have I not adjusted in my settings? Is closing my Facebook account the only way to stop this from happening? Does anyone know?
