This is tough because to be honest I never used a Mac computer other then going on my best friends maybe twice but getting slightly confused with how to use it. My dad bought us a cheap windows computer growing up good enough for browsing the internet. Due to that I got exposed to Microsoft and Windows XP at a young age. I still am running Windows XP on my desktop and Windows 8 on a laptop. I like Windows but it does suck they can't get viruses and Macs do not seem too. If I had the chance to really learn a Mac I might like it more.

Windows. Why would anyone even choose Mac and limit themselves with the software selection? Sure you can run windows on Mac too but what's the point? Just get a PC and you'll have better computer for less money.

For the extra you'd spend on Mac, invest in a decent antivirus for windows. Mac's are not immune and getting more viruses each day.

Interesting to know. I don't believe they can't I just hardly heard tell of it so it is easy to think they don't. I had a paid virus program but now I am just running AVG on everything and it works fine. Its been 2 years or longer since I last got a virus and last time it was my fault for using a site I probably shouldn't of been on. Since then I have been fine though so that is good at least.

For me: windows cause of program compatibility.

for my parents: tbh i'd probably buy them a mac cause everything works out of the box and they're not as likely to get viruses from browsing the web.

Windows. It's what I was bought up with, purely because I can't afford a Mac.

Otherwise, because I'm a DJ, I would choose a mac...

It depends.
I prefer windows becausa i need mora applications for testing etc, that doesn't work in MAC. And games too. They all work in windows system.
MAC is more specific for desing works, or aplications that does work in mac that are too havy for windows.

But if you have the right pc, with a very good process, graphic and storage, WINDOWS ABSOLUTY IS THE BEST!! :D :D :D

I have tried both ( MAC and Windows) but I would definitely go for Windows. It's more user-friendly, and you can install a lot of software applications. I have sold my MacBook Air two years ago and I am currently using Acer Aspire 3.
