Why My REAL Friends Should Join Me in Playing "Diggy's Adventure"

Postby friendociate » 02 Nov 2018, 19:57

(and I say 'real friends' because I don't mean 'loose acquaintance I just added to my friends-list because it got me extra help in the game' :geek: Adding a bunch of those friends, a) my profile got "hacked" a time or two--basically just 'people posting "stuff I didn't want" on my profile'--and b) I'm STILL 'removing fake friends' from a Facebook-game I quit playing years ago!)

Diggy's Adventure is a game-app on Facebook. In it, "Your character is the miner Diggy.
Pixel Federation wrote:Your ship crashed somewhere on the coast of Egypt on route to Luxor, where you were about to meet Linda, your old friend. You and your companions Professor and robot Rusty will have to find her but that's just the beginning. Many things are not what they seem... The sands of Egypt keep many secrets and the old gods have decided to stir them up again. Soon you will be crawling through forgotten temples, cursed tombs and ancient treasuries; solving riddles and digging your way through the mysteries around you. All while upgrading your improvised base camp into a solid haven for your adventurous expeditions."

So yes, it's "a quest game." You have to dig up wild growth, crush rocks & roll away boulders to clear your way to finish the tasks various characters need you to fulfill---lots of good brain-work (including-but-not-limited-to energy-management, resource-management, logic, and a little feng shui (you know, 'furniture arranging').

The game reminds me of Bomberman,Super Granny and fallout shelter because of the digging aspect.

Yeah, but don't think of it as "a video-game" (especially if you're used to 'video games' like "the XBox" or "Playstation"), because--at least on my own desktop--it'll often 'slow WAYYYYYYYYYY DOWN.'

Think of it as more 'an internet puzzle-program.'

And  Have Fun! :D

Yeah I kind of thought from the commercial I saw of it that it was a puzzle and maze game.
I do like to play fighting and adventure games. But Zelda also has a lot of puzzles hidden within the game, that you have to solve to get to the next part. but with fighting mixed into it.

The main 'strategic action' in Diggy's Adventure seems to be "rearranging 'boulders' (or other big, indestructable objects) in order to open a path to more bricks to break.' :geek:

I am curious about this game in the Facebook for I was used to playing Farmville before. So I wanted to have another diversion time to play some games in the FB. I will try to look for this. Thanks for sharing it here.

Yeah, that's why I usually play games on Facebook too---diversion-time, while I wait for friends to respond to my posts there and/or -to post new pictures-or-links-or-thoughts-or-whatever (on their profile-pages or in Facebook-groups or -pages I follow there).

Sometimes, I get so 'into the games' that I make a lot of friend-requests with people whom I only know THROUGH the games! (as you can give your friends 'helps' in the game & can get a lot of 'helps' from them) I try not to 'make friends' that way any more though, as I'm still de-friending a lot of connections from all over I made on games I don't play anymore :hair:
