I have AT&T U-verse & NETFLIX ... I think the 'main connection' is in my living-room, 'streaming' to my bedroom.

A few weeks ago, the weather took my cable out. The guy came and fixed it, but NETFLIX no longer streamed into my bedroom (and I would try to 'turn on NETFLIX' in there almost everyday ... "No Connection," it would tell me.)

I tried it again today, and SUCCESS

And I was thinking I had to have my sister come re-connect it, or fly my brother in from the west coast

Maybe I'll check on my neighborhood's network on NextDoor ... maybe somebody fixed a wire somewhere ... or somethin ...

I still haven't checked to see if my AMAZON PRIME is streaming again as well ... maybe I don't wanna "jinx" it ...

It may have something to do with the AMAZON FIRE STICK my sister & brother-in-law got me ... while looking up the first two links above, I--since I was already on smile.amazon (which donates a percentage of your order to charity ... possibly the Mountain High Foundation, or maybe you choose a different one), I saw that AT&T U-Verse AND NETFLIX are FREE with the FireStick!

FREE with the Firestick? That's awesome! Netflix is a good deal anyway, but to get it FREE????

I told my roommate that I saw that the AMAZON FIRE STICK gets you AT&T U-verse FREE; and she thought about 'just not paying anymore' ... which is probably bad, since I'm not sure if U-verse would still provide our PHONE & INTERNET if we started 'not paying THEM and just paying AMAZON.'
