Someday elderly actors can play young roles again without plastic surgery

Postby Netherrealmer » 06 Nov 2018, 18:04

Norman Reedus from the Walking dead gets to be the lead role for the upcoming cinematic action video game "Death Stranding"

This is him in real life:

This is him in the video game:

If you notice they made him look younger in the game.
----
His Love interest on the game is played by Lindsay Wagner, A woman old enough to be his mom, she is already 69 years old.

Image

The Modern Technology though is able to bring back her beauty back in the 1970's !

So their characters is around the same age.

For sure they can hire a younger actress but the producer of the game loves Lindsay Wagner's beauty on her prime. Also he was her childhood crush so he want to work with her.

If you look at the graphics of this videogame , it looks realistic and this technology is now being used in movies too.
-------------

On Captain America Civil war, They are able to make Robert Downey Junior a teenager again!!
Image

I think this technology is good news to older actors because it means they can play young roles again!

On the Movie prequel of Star Wars, Rogue One, Carrie Fisher became young again.

Many of my favorite actors and actresses are old now and this technology means they can get lead roles as their young selves again with this technology.
-------------
We can make a romantic comedy movie where Zac Efron
Image

Will have Betty White as his leading lady!!!
Image
Looking like this:
Image

We can have new Terminator Movies where Arnold is fit and muscular again because we know he is fat now. oh it already happened!!
Image

Which old actors you would like to see young in movies again?

I heard about this new technology. If I start naming all the actors I'd like to see again I'll be here all night. Also, many of them are no longer with us.

Dead actors can now be used too as long as their families agreed like these commercials:

@cmoneyspinner the Bruce Lee one offended his family though because there is no permission and Bruce Lee is not a drinker. He doesn't have any vice.

How stupid to not get the family's permission? Were they hoping the family wouldn't mind? The man's reputation is still worth gold even though he's dead. I did not appreciate that it was a liquor ad either. In fact I thought it was rather odd. :? I was just commenting on being able to see my favorite actor again. That part was cool!

I guess Johnny Walker is just too greedy. Oh this technology is also used for dead singers too. They make CGI hologram performances and concerts of dead singers.

Basically dead singers have unreleased songs that got recorded so they want to make use of those songs.

With this Technology... They can make Noah Centineo the guy who got recently getting casted a lot in rom coms star on a teen romance movie with his partner being Meg Ryan but Meg Ryan will look like her teenage self and play a teenager.

We can also have a movie where Old Meryl Streep will play the mother of a teenage character also played by Meryl Streep.

Wow, I'd be offended too! I mean, it's just common decency to ask first.

RE the initial reason for your post - It's amazing what modern technology can do! Maybe that way some of the actresses won't have the pressure of looking forever young and beautiful piled on them. I hate how they often have to look to plastic surgery to stay in the game, only it ends up making them look like caricatures :(

Yeah with this technology an 80 year old can still play a teenage role of theirself. At this moment the technology is still expensive.

Expensive? I'll bet. Right at the moment it's probably something that only a person with an estate like the late Michael Jackson could afford.

More movies are now using the deaging technology.

Isabelle Fuhrman will reprise her role as the serial killing child Esther but she is now 23 years old.

They will use CGI to make her a child again.

Hugh Jackman already happened. A clone villain of him is a CGI version of his young self:

Wow, she's pretty. But I don't think she would retake her role as Esther again. She's tall now. And her movie, Orphan is great. It doesn't need to be remade.
