The Windows 10 might be linked to a license.
Perhaps you would either have to :
A)Format the system, and install the O/S you want.
B)Call or email Microsoft customer care in your city/area and ask them the solution, or workaround to do so.
Also you can ask questions on sites like
=>MSDN network(Microsoft's Developer Network site)
=>Stackoverflow - one of the best in the Business
=>ittoolbox.com

And if still things do not work, ;)
send a flight ticket to me to visit your place and try to fix the things !

If Windows are not original, than don't call support. Find solution online.

Did you have success already?

If the Windows 10 was upgraded from another version as part of the agreement then it has the option of going back to older version. But I am not sure if that option is available to the person who decided to upgrade through his Microsoft email.

Press the home button intermittently for 15 seconds. This might work on most of the cases. Windows 10 can be installed only via online nowadays no CD's would work.

I don't think resetting the OS could solve the speed of the laptop. I understand the speed of the computer or laptop is dependent from the Internet connection. That is one. Another is the memory which is already full that affects the running of some applications. If that will be the case, the files should be deleted or transferred to other storage section or in online like Google drive or cloud storage and file storage, dropbox, among others. And it could be the presence of virus in the system. Those are the things that need to be resolved properly for the laptop or the computer to enhance its speed.

First of all have you checked why the computer became slower? Have you checked for Malware or virus? Most speed problems in Windows are due to that malicious software. To try to help you I need more information about the machine, what type of machine it is and what windows version is installed.
