Sometimes "People Going Through Things" Don't Need Your 'Words'

Postby friendociate » 01 Dec 2018, 21:33

Something annoys me.

For a few of my spare hours everyday, I hang out on Facebook: I check the 'Notifications'-dropdown to see if any of my 'special connections' have posted anything lately or if any of my past discussions have been commented-on, then I goto a favorite Facebook-game to play for a while as I wait for further post- or comment-notifications.

I play for 'a round,' then I check any new notifications that have popped up. And when posters- or commenters have informative comments to make, that's fine. But it's annoying when they make a whole comment that says 'that empty stuff people always say to people who are going through a hard time!' I mean :problem: Can't they just 'click a "reaction" ( :) :( <3  :o or :x )' and trust that it would communicate all the 'we're here for you, we share your burden, you'll make it, blah-blah-blah'-feelings they need to feel?

Why do you need to put 'words' in there?

I agree. I liked when Facebook expanded the emoticons. I am often at a lost for words but I can empathize or sympathize with the person. I don't want to click "LIke" when they are having difficulties. But now Facebook has an emoticon for "Caring". I click that one and hope they really do get that I care.

That's right and it's more like saying stop sympathising with people at times.

Before you can get such person, you have to know his or her favourite. This will help such people to give you response.

You know people react differently, there are those who will tell you stuff others will be quiet and just give you a hug and others send stickers just like you've said so everyone has their own way you shouldn't take it personally maybe there are those who feel comforted when someone says something to them.

Sometimes words do not heal, you know people have gone through a lot in the past people that are shattered, words can't heal them especially when you don't have the right words people like that usually get this depressed and might have huge problems I think people like this needs serious monitoring and guidance they need a lot of time to heal maybe when they move out of the environment they've been hurt to another environment to see new things get new adventures and new hobbies they might forget about the past and move on sometimes you cannot just have the right words because you can't really explain and empathize on what they are going through.

If we put a reaction on Facebook means that it is readed but if it is an angry reaction means that you are not agree the writer opinion however if we put support means that you are supporting the idea and we if we put shocked means that it is a surprising post and finally some posts let you laughing you put laugh reaction it is better than putting your opinion by writing and enter in discussions with other facebook users about agree disagree however you will open your facebook for a half an hour daily not more.

That's very great to see Facebook add more reaction features. Like you said I don't like replying some one in state of apathy with a like reaction on his/her post. Thank God that Mr Facebook owner 'mark' made a positive change on the platform by introducing more emotional emojis on the social media platform.

Or yeah i could relate to that somehow,I mean the message must reach the intended user for the purpose the message was trying to be communicated to.So just an expression sometimes is powerful enough to cause an impact on who ever it was destined to reach.
