When Mortal Kombat X, announced Kung-Jin the cousin of the former main character Kung-lao is gay, Some people got upset and said they will not use him . He is actually a cool character, Unlike his cousin who fights with Kung-fu, he fights with archery. He is actually not a stereotype as he is very manly and to make sure he won't upset conservative players, he don't have a love interest. They handled his character in a subtle way.



Street fighter character Poison also have controversies of her own.


They designed her to look extremely sexy and she have a cool fighting style of using a whip as a weapon. She also resembles Megan Fox but with a neon pink hair. She have a secret though, She is transgender. Many male player are upset because they found her super attractive but she dont have lady parts because she was originally a man. Street fighter is still one of the best selling video games of all time. Also the men who are upset of her being a former man, Street fighter still have biological female characters like Cammy,Chun-li, Rose,Sakura,Karin,Rainbow Mika etc...

The 2013, game "The last of us" is awarded as game of the year.

It is about a drama horror adventures of a man who lost his daughter and a 14 year old girl who is immune from a zombie fungi infection. Many people loves this game so much they want it to become a movie. Well Ellie, the girl from the first game will return on the sequel as the main character. Many fans got upset to find out sweet girl Ellie grew up into a lesbian. I don't mind, The last of us is a good game and I will play the sequel.

Some fans don't mind characters who are LGBT but there are gamers who will not buy a game if the main character is LGBT or one character is LGBT.

Russia banned overwatch after they found out it's main character and poster girl, Tracer is a lesbian.
Many male fans got upset too because they fantasize her as their girlfriend because she is very cute and sweet.

Poison first appeared in the Final Fight arcade.. and you could kind of tell she was gay.
But I don't care. A lot of characters I use in games look could be gay. As long as they get me kills and wins
is what matters to me.

People used to think Vega was gay because he was beautiful and in love with him self.
But maybe he loved girls they never really talk about his love in the game or movie.

Ken for sure had a girl so he is not gay. lol

Why should I care about it? Each soul has their own path and life is so much different than what people were programmed to believe, the hate against LGBT people were created by a specific religion who is no example to anyone, and people will soon realize that. In the spiritual world, and yes that is what we are Spirits, that question don't even exist. Tracer upsets a lot of guys, I have a feeling though they will still have no chance with her if she is straight.

it bugs me when it's forced. First of all, I never felt like gays/lesbians were ever treated unfairly, and even back in the 80's growing up I knew a few gay people- even some transgender, and they blended in. I've never seen anyone really hating on them.
Now I feel like people are starting to dislike them because of the constant in-your-face virtue signalling. It's shoved down your throat and pushed in with an elbow. It would be ok if it was restricted to the US alone, but it's growing in Europe too.

It's not like using those characters will turn them gay. They dont need to use them if they dont want to.

I have no qualms about using any characters who are not straight. I feel that their sexual inclination has nothing to do with their heroic abilities. They should be competent and well trained to do their job.

I don't play video games but my 2 sons do. I really don't mind using LGBT characters in video games as long as we don't disrespect them. I think it's high time we recognize them as same as us,normal part of society.
