When I was student, we had very slow Internet connection so we learned how to crack neighbour WIFI password. We learned about Backtrack, Kali and other methods of cracking WIFI password. We managa crack some and some not.

One of the requirement is unrooting your phone and tablet which is a huge security risk. I am happy paying for my own wifi.

I didn't done it from tablet, etc Android. I always used Linux on PC or laptop.

No I didn't, I never had that need because my internet providers always gave me free access to wi-fi outside my home, besides that is a crime at least where I live.

Many of these wifi cracks ads a malware to your device. So do at your own risk

You need to have Linux (Kali version is newest good for those purposes) and wifi antena. Than you find online steps and crack if everything is good.

I have never tried to hack or crack anything. As I am scared the FBI will bust me.
But I know a lot of hackers out there break things and so far have not been caught.
But I have never tried to do this.

FBI won't catch you if you don't do bad thing. Also if you crack somebody wifi than respect owners privacy and don't make his bills to big. We cracked only if we know somebody have flat option.

Oh I see, yes as long as you don't do very bad things will not be wrong.
Also it's easy to get free Wi Fi when people leave it unlocked.
I have done this a couple times, when My wi fi was down lol.
But I only used it to stream music and movies at that time

I have never done it and will never do it.Its not a good thing to crack someone"s WiFi password..why not ask them?..

Because many people are afraid to share password because of privacy. We crack passwords only when we need it, not for bad things.

I get the impression that whomever WiFi password you hacked into wasn't using very good encryption methods. Probably WEP? Anyway, I've not done this but I have used someone's WiFi that didn't have a password. Those were the days when routers came out of the box without a password for the WiFi.
