Instagram banned the ads of the mobile game Game of Sultans because it offended a celebrity who is recovering from eating disorders and drug addiction.

The offended celeb is Demi Lovato. She thinks her fans who are young girls should not see this add.

On this game, You are a sultan with multiple wives and children. It seemed like one of the minigames of this game is that you have a fat daughter and your friend have a slim daughter. So you will starve your daughter with broccoli only so she will become skinny.




Oh you can marry your daughter too once she becomes an adult.

Hm. I think there's a cultural thing there that she ought to be addressing rather than just complaining that Insta is wrong. Of course, she's not stupid and wouldn't criticise a culture for fear of being racist so let's stick to complaining about Insta.

instagram is weak! this game is awesome.
Also I am offended by Demi Lovato being a druggie. Yet I see all all over the net.
Maybe someone should ban her. I think Wendy needs to roast her.

I do not agree with censorship. I think there should be more violent and worse ads on
instagram. The net needs to be more tough like cable TV. Where if you go to the wrong
channel you will be offended!
