Why do you guys think people like spooky things online If on social media I post links to blogs
about new music I like I hardly get clicks. What gets clicks is talking about making easy money online. and how to do it. But another niche I found is scary things. If I post about ghosts, demons, or anything spooky, people seem to flock to that content. Or I will keep writing and posting about scary things,
to get more views if that is what the people like.

What do you think people like spooky things online ?

Since it's something new than is interested. That niche is not explored enough and Science can't give answers, so far. That is way people love it.

Yes, people like the theme, I had a creepypasta channel in the past.
It got like 10 subs a day, but sadly my Mic broke and the cheap ones are awfull.

It's just that people like to be scared, andrenaline maybe.
Check out mr. creepypasta he's like the "pewdiepie" of scary stories.

It is perhaps things that are unknown; things that seem to have existence, but not proven.
It is the longing to "know" or perhaps the "mystery" that gets people towards spooky things.
And I would write no further as it is past 12 Midnight and it is cold, rainy and windy outside !!

I think people just enjoy it just as one can enjoy music and finding ways to earn money online. I can't stand things like horror movies because I jump out of my socks and I really don't like being scared

I enjoy scary movies and scary things. So I will post more of my spooky things online. It seems people like that kind of stuff a lot lol.

With all the ghost shows out there, and new ones showing up all the time, there definitely is a fascination about them. So I could see how this would be popular. Fear gives us a rush of hormones and it can be different for everyone, it can be negative, or even adrenaline, arousal, euphoria

Its called the fascination for the unknown. People are always attracted to things mysterious , its kind of adventurous to some people. They like to dance with death and the ghost ever after. lol They lesser we know about thing the more is the fascination for the experience. I guess the stories people tell trigger their imagination.

Yes I think it is the mystery and excitment that makes me come back to that kind of content
and always want to read or hear more. I think it's a good way to get views. But I am surprised how many people were interested in it.

Yes I agree people want to explore something new or scary or read or hear about it. I admit in the early days of me being online. I would read true scary stories posted online for hours.

Those stories do get in your head and kind of scare you. Because some of the stories are based on real life events, or could have happened. So at the end you are wondering.
Could this be fake or real? and it makes is more scary.

duh all of them are fiction but people read them because they want to get scared because being scared actually have health benefits like a faster heartbeat and adrenaline.
