More dead than living

Postby mrki444 » 04 Feb 2019, 21:25

Facebook created something uniqe. It affected on all parts of live. It's become bigger than some social media, bigger than some countrys.

Do you know that until end of this century it will have more dead than living users?

Do you think anyother app will manage od something similar in future?

I don't understand the connection between Facebook and the ratio of the dead and living. Does this mean Facebook has predicted already.

Deleting the account of the dead users is the right thing to do unless Facebook has an ulterior motive

Facebook users currently are mainly people who are fifty and above. Younger users do not register into FB so much anymore. I think that was what I last read. Yes, in that sense there will be more dead than alive by the turn of the century. But will FB be there until then?
My nephew passed on six years ago and his account is still there. I think the parents keep updating his account about his birthday and death anniversary and people keep responding to them.

True. Younger people don't want to go on FB because their parents have profile on FB.

I've seen such profiles, they usually add something like "In Memory Of" before the name.
I think family might also ask Facebook to delete the profile.

I don't see probability of a new site overthrowing them because they constantly enhance their site.
