by hunkmenlordy » 06 Feb 2019, 20:04 I was in video chat with this guy one day and he said he has no camera on his computer so he can only use his phone to chat with me. However , when he signed on hangout both on his phone and his computer and video called me, there were 3 accounts showing on the bottom right corner of the video screen, 1 is me, the other 2 are the same name but 1 showing his face while the other showing only a defult user picture.
And the account with defult user picture (see in the middle) joined in later on after this guy opened the video chat with me.
Does that mean my video chatting could be spied on by some one I don't know? It seems whoever makes the call in the beginning can drag in more people in group chat without my agreement.
I did a test with another friend of mine, he sent me a video call and i answered it with my phone meanwhile logged in my gmail on my laptop.How odd, because there is no 3rd person in our video conversation at all. Therego it could be major privacy issue with hangout.
