Never. Most online friends are just for show and a true bond never develops. Real friendship is made physically - face to face.

I have a couple of friends from Canada and USA. We have been friends for more than 10 years. These are the people who helped me when I first started to work online. Its amazing that you could be friends with someone so far away and be in touch with them everyday. Well almost.

Quickest I got was some Chinese girl on the same day, she took a bus up to Oxford from London to meet me. She was a real weirdo though, we made out a bit, but she seemed sort of 'off' so I didn't take things further. Think I dodged a bullet.
