It was ages ago. At university, students seeking a degree in Business were required to take computer programming course and we had to write a computer program. Developing apps, etc.? Now you're speaking in a foreign language.

I have learned a little by doing. I have tried online programming tutorial and those basic things I learned were applied to my own blog site. I am referring to HML Tutorial by W3Schools.

I have not made an apps, but I did program point of sale systems for auto dealers and sold them all over the United States for about 25 years. I wrote the first ones myself (since I was the only one in my company), but later I learned it was much more lucrative to hire programmers and stick to selling systems.

Some basic HTML is valuable to learn even for working on a WordPress site.

HTML and CSS knowledge will give you skills for making website templates and then you can sell it.

I am planning to take a course on this. I want something which will give me a certificate which I can use as an added credential. I am contemplating whether to take a course offline or online.

I think the best credentials you can have is a web page with satisfied customers on it, even if you have to do some work free to get them.

yes, I made an Instagram Bot using python to grow on Instagram but it does not work passively so I quit programming. I had never made an app because it is very difficult.

That's also a good thing to consider. I can set up a website even if I don't enroll in any course. I think that's not enough. I need a certificate because I can use it for promotion or for applying to other companies.

Making bot is not easy. If you know how, you can make clickers, autoposters or some other type of bots and sell it.
