I am not sure, I agree Facebook can start it but the chances of success are 50-50. I reserve my comment unless I hear more on this.

It might be beneficial for international money transfers where money transfer is expensive. There will be more flexibility in payments. However, the only dilemma would be to trust Facebook, who has a poor record at keeping users data private, with such a huge responsibility.

Facebook is trying to be a Jack of all trades. First monetized videos, then monetized videogame streaming , then Original tv shows and now crypto currency.

Just like the Indian industrialist Anil Ambani?! According to my understanding, he had diversified into almost all trades. His one day income is said to be Rs.133,00,00,000/- (Rs.133 crores).

well it's FB so it will have some value at least, it'll be like forumcoin but on a much bigger scale, used in a similar way to buy likes and bring visitors to business pages.

The thing is they don't pay users unless they have 10000 followers. Bittube pays you without even one follower. If youtube and facebook really want new creators they need to relax their followers min requirements.

I've read about it. I personally think a diverse type of coins will be healthy for the crypto world, but after that Cambridge Analytica scandal, I'm ambivalent with anything that Facebook do.

I've been hearing it lately but I'm not sure or not interested. I'm reading some posts that it is a data grab like Facebook obviously. I remember in our government uses FB data to check identification which is absurd so this crypto will not do good like Bitcoin.

Not sure it would be in trend or not since Bitcoin is not working well lately, dropped back to USD5,000 level.

Hope it would as powerful as the Facebook share price.
