Mega Plans of Amazon for "Inclusive" , affordable Internet worldwide

Postby ptrikha21 » 19 Apr 2019, 17:00

In a new disclosed massive plan of Amazon, more than 3000 satellites would be placed in Low earth orbit to provide low latency and high speed broadband internet at very affordable and low costs, especially to Billions of people across the globe, who have been deprived of many developmental avenues, and especially Broadband.
The Project has been named as Kuiper, named after a distant Solar System object.
The project does looks quite ambitious!

Sometimes such innovative plans take time to materialize. It is good that they are giving a big try.

This could prove to be truly revolutionary if implemented in the right way, and if successful.
