I have a Windows 7 Home Premium version. I got VLC Media player ready, but surprisingly, it was just playing the audio and not the picture of the video.
I searched the Net and found this : 5KPlayer. This is running well, and could be a key component of my video usage.
Have you ever faced such a problem?

VLC player should be updated. I saw few times problem, VLC is there but many codecs are missing. Trough default installation you get only few basics codecs, but there is many others. Depends what video type file you play, you will need specific codec.

I once face this problem, but what I did is, I uninstall the old VLC and install a new version of VLC

It is not playing .mpeg as well as .vob formats. I would search for the codecs.

I tried this. In fact, first I uninstalled the 32 bit version and re-installed the 32 bit version. However, the next time, I uninstalled it and installed with a 64 bit again.

If you do new installation, I think you can choose Advanced type and choose all codecs in start.

If you still have problems with file, upload and will try run it on my Computer.
