Aside from the health reasons I think many toddlers dont behave well anymore because of Elsagate. Elsagate are those traumatizing fake episodes of popular cartoons that would be too traumatizing for children.

Some parents won't care about the warning. Still, it's a vital warning from WHO and I'm glad I don't have little ones in the house anymore.

play with toys, watching cartoon, playing games, I think all these are good for babies, but they should be time, and the kind of cartoon and games, which they should be allowed by their parent

The main problem are those social media. Children should be prohibited from using them.

If I am a dad my kids won't have smart phones until they are 15. They won't be jealous of classmates because I will homeschool them anyway. I will enroll my sons in football sports clinics and my daughters to Martial arts dojos and gymnastics.

You see where the problem is though! To think it's oh so cool to leave them at the mercy of YouTube is madness in itself. Hopefully the UN guidelines will help.

I agree. Kids should play outside and take some sunlight. So many kids develop horribly thanks to staying inside all day while playing with their phone.

I would not even recommend it for an hour for a five year old. Five years is too young to have a gadget. I think having gadgets at young age has no advantage but only disadvantages. Some of these are really serious ones.

Found another article I think you might like. I did all of those things on the list and I can tell you now that my kids are grown ... in The End ... they are the ones who will determine their own success. But they won't be able to point a finger at me and say that I held them back.

Is good to impose such laws to toddlers from using smart phones for their own good, and to preserve good state of health at that early age cos there are a lot traumatizing cartoons that does damage to children.

No matter how great this idea is. Majority of parents are still stupid enough to let Youtube babysit their children and I wish I can do something about it but I cant.

This is a really good idea but some parents still wouldn't agree with this and some kids won't like that but I guess it's up to the parents to decide.
