Now the hype of folding phones just died

Postby Netherrealmer » 01 May 2019, 13:37

People had been desiring the folding phones that turns into a tablet since the prototypes had been teased around 2014. Samsung has been teasing them for a long time that a Chinese company managed to release one before Samsung died.

Its been a week since Samsung released theirs and guess what. It got a long of complaints!

I thought Galaxy note 7 explosions will be Samsung's last controversy but it looks like it won't be. As the foldable phones has been receiving lots of complaints.

Yes, I heard about this :)
I think most of the problems are related with people removing a protective layer that are not supposed to remove... But who knows that? Who read the instructions? ;)
I don't like this phone: first it is so expensive; second people tendo to broke their screen phone and it's expensive to replace... imagine if our phone has 2 screens ;)

First with the exploding Galaxy, now with the peeling of Galaxy Folds screen... What were Samsung devs thinking to release their supposed latest flagship with that kind of screen quality? I hate to admit it but the Flexpai wins. And their response to those reviews? Oh dear. The reviewer in the vid is right; it's a bit of a PR disaster.

And yes, foldable phone still has ways to go.

It is hard to trust Samsung after having 2 strikes with their products. There are other Android phones out there that are much better like Oppo.

Agreed. As much as one doesn't trust a 'China brand', their products nowadays are getting better and people can have the gadgets they want for a slightly cheaper price compared to other branded products. My mother has Oppo and it works fine for her.
