One of the most profitable online jobs is Beauty Tubing, Its basically making Make up tutorials for Youtube. It was all started by this lady Michelle Phan. After Michelle's success many women, girls and gay guys tried their chance with Beauty tubing at Youtube and instagram.

One of the veterans on Youtube when it comes to make up tutorial is Tati

She had been doing it for 8 years.

When she became successful, she met a boy James Charles. Tati adopted him like a son and mentored him.


Because of her Mentorship James became a very successful Beauty Tuber, Even famous celebrities wants to appear on his make up channel.



When James Launched his own makeup line, Tati promoted his makeup like crazy for free which helped his online sales.


So you can see how close their were. When Tati launched her own line of vitamins. James Charles decided to promote her competitor brand at Instagram.



Which leads to this war


Tati destroyed James' career on that video. His subscriber rates dropped like flies from 16 Million to 13 Million and it continues to drop.

Some people are on Tati's side, they think he betrayed her after all the help she gave him. Some people are on Jame's side, they think it's wrong for her to end his online career.

Wow, that's crazy for sure!!! AND a bit petty. I mean cmon, just because she mentored him, is he not allowed to strike out on his own and make a name for himself?! I've seen this on the news and didn't bother to find out what actually happened but I feel it shouldn't have escalated to this level. I'd be very proud and just hope he remained grateful to have been mentored by me.

UPDATE: sorry, change of heart LOL I didn't see the bit about him promoting the competitor's work. Now I get why this Tati feels betrayed. Well, there IS such a thing as KARMA, it'll soon catch up with him.

this war just made James Charles the target of multiple memes. Many people on Youtube are now parodying his apology video.



He just surpassed Pewdiepie and Paul brothers as the most hated Youtuber for this reason. I still believe though the Paul brothers deserves the hate though.

I tried to watch the vids but I couldn't stand it so I read about it on an article that deftly summarized everything about this beauty 'war'...

I understood why Westbrook felt betrayed by Charles, but to jump straight away to social media and bring the fight upfront for the public to see shows callousness, lack of class and self-restraint. Yes, social media is her world & business but didn't it cross her mind to talk about it with her precious mentee in private? Can't she just reel in her self-gratification a bit and not destroy the kid in the public eyes?

Ah the drama I guess this is what happens when your friendship is business/money-oriented from the start. I find it funny that the other YouTubers jumped in and get their piece of fame from this war.

While the Tati James situation is getting worst, A new scandal arose because its 2 years in the making.

Trisha Paytas a popular Youtube influencer asked her fans to join a cover contest of her song.


Mukbanger NikoKado Avocado, decided to make his own violin cover of Trisha's song..


She liked the cover and she promised him a collaboration.


Fans asked Trisha what happened to the suppose collaboration. She lied and said it didn't continue because she thinks its a creep. After finding out he is a Mukbanger, she ghosted him.



So from his country Colombia, he flied to LA.

Trisha offered him to go to LA so they can do their collab video. So with his own money he goes to LA but Trisha ghosted him. She didnt show up . It seemed like she looks down on Mukbangers.
