Has anyone heard or still use IRC Chat? It has been a decade. IRC ( Internet Relay Chat ) was very famous back then developed by Finnish scientist Jarkko Oikarinen in late 1980s. The client famous back then to use IRC was mIRC and even java phones had apps to use IRC.

I don't know if people still use IRC in 2019. Its been quite a long time.

I have never heard of it before. At first, I got excited because I thought it was a new online earning site where we could get paid to chat And no, I don't know anyone who uses it.

haha yes! When I first got internet I was on IRC and used Mirc all the time! Im not sure if IRC is even around anymore. I think it was 1998

There were literally thousands and THOUSANDS of rooms, And if you couldnt find a room you want to talk in, you can make one, Think of a subject and you can find a room.

There were different networks, and they all had their own servers, I cant remember all of them but there was Dalnet, Undernet, and more

I thought so, I would find someone who don't know IRC because it's so old tech now.
