Augmented Reality(AR)is slowly beginning to make inroads in our day to day journey. AR is of different types such as Projection based AR where light is projected to a surface to explore various possibilities.
One can project a game from an iPad to a wall to have a larger surface to play.
Or one Furniture store uses this Technology to show how the furniture would look after placing in their home, using this Technology.
We also have Marker based, Marker Less and Superimposition based AR and some other types.
It is an evolving field and we would see more applications in fields like Military, Education, Safety and Medical fields.

Perhaps now I need to get some AR based app to explore?

AR will definitely help to meet increasing demand and remove limitations where healthcare is concerned.
