5G Technology Coming Soon

What kind of service do you have on your phone? 3G? 4G? LTE? Say hello to 5G in 2020!

After a few tests (and limited availability in Sydney, Australia), 5G is basically "lightning-fast". Downloads and uploads are taking a fraction of the time. One person downloaded PUBG, a 2.04GB game, and it was ready to play in 54 seconds, in comparison to 5 minutes and 57 seconds through a broadband.

One major issue, however, is that you will be going through your data much faster. One test showed that while using 20GB (the average in America), 50% was already used after 25 minutes. In less than one hour, you could be using your monthly data limit.

Obviously there is a lot of work needed to be done before it's release in 2020. But here is the article if you are interested:

5g is touted as a huge advance in communications. However, there are significant health risks to all that make this change very worrisome.

This is just one article of many that clarify the worries. It is worth consideration before any celebration.

It is already available iN South Korea and Taiwan as far as I know. Those countries have the fastest internet connection now.
