Best OS?

Postby icecat » 25 May 2015, 05:13

Which OS do you use? I have used Ubuntu, and Windows, and I really like Ubuntu. It's a Lenix product, and it's free to download. The main thing I appreciate about it is the fact that there are virtually no viruses written for it. The downside is that it's a little more limited than Windows. Has anyone here tried it? If so, what did you think?

I have tried Ubuntu before and I must say, its far better than Windows in terms of interface, performance, and the level of complexity. The first and second one is a good thing but the third is not so good, but once you mastered the sudo and the superuser commands they are actually fun to play with. The downside is, as you said, a little more limited. It doesn't supports DirectX and a long list of software's and hardware's.

Windows 7 to me comes unmatched...Although...If Ubuntu had more gaming support, I'd switch to Ubuntu, although It's definitely getting there.

In my opinion i think that Windows 7 is the best. I tried windows 8.1 and i remove it from my computer in 2 days. I hate their so futuristic look and a lot of programs i am using didnt work. I will keep Windows 7 until Windows 10 come.

Windows OS is the best so far. Comparing to other OS, Windows has better support though we know that Windows OS is not free. You gotta buy it though it's really good because most applications are compatible with Windows unlike other operating systems.

I agree about Windows XP. It is the only Windows OS that I have ever wanted to keep using. In fact, I have bought used computers, instead of new ones because they had XP installed. :D I think Linux IS improving, as far as gaming goes. It'll be interesting to see how it shapes up in the future.

Technically thinking (in my opinion), WINDOWS OS is the best OS that i experienced. Why?

1. It is user friendly.
2. We can easily find solutions to the problems of this OS because "most" netizens are using this OS too.
3. It is popular when it comes to technology related topics.
4. Its a good OS for a GAMER. Most games are preferring Windows OS because of its flexibility.

That's all thank you and have a good day!
