The Reon Pocket is a crowdfunded project, recently introduced on Sony's First Flight platform. Its purpose is to supply the wearer with cool air during hot weather and warm air during cold weather.

Smaller than a smartphone, the device slots into the pocket on the back of a custom undershirt.Temperature settings can be controlled using a smartphone app. On a single charge, the battery will last for about 90 minutes and requires two hours to fully recharge.

Wow!! That is a great innovation. However, I worry that whether such a device would be skin safe and not cause some kind of a health issue as a side effect.
And what kind of rays does it uses, or is it some kind of radiation?

The radiation bit is what worries me. I feel the better way forward is to plant more and more trees, and reduce usage of private vehicles, so that the temperature rise remains in limit.
