It is a machine that lacks empathy. I know people are saying that it will be more disciplined than actual drivers but I still don't trust them. I feel sad of all the truck drivers who will lose their jobs because of self driving trucks.

71% of Americans also don't trust self driving cars but they will still go for this super risky technology. Flying cars are invented but never got approved for mass produce but the self driving cars are legalized easily.

My country have a terrorism problem so no it is not safe.

I would rather have Work From Home made a more accepted practice and Singapore styled massive emphasis on Public Transport to make Traffic congestion less of a problem. Driverless cars could run on some dedicated corridors if they could be possibly made.

Imagine what will happen if a self driving car encounters a drunk driver. Also how is it going to deal with floods or road cracks.

Self driving car have problems because of other real drivers and people who jumps on street on non marked place.

Yes, it looks like this technology is not safe enough, but I believe it will be improved somehow, and with the pace of time lots of people will be able to work as repairmen for such cars and cars will be eco- and human- friendly. Actually, I believe in humanization of technology somehow.

Self driving cars are not safe as they can only do that which they are programmed to do . They can take you to destination but may not take precautions to drive safely

The self-driving cars move based on the white lines on the road, so basically it works well on well maintained road like highway, but might not able to tackle all those emergency situations that need deep judgement.
