I know I made discussions about mind upload before but this is the craziest one I heard. Elon Musk wanted to use Minecraft, reprogram and repurpose it as sandbox program to be used as afterlife for dead people. He will use a copy of minecraft, remove the enemies and dangers and just turn it into a virtual world where dead people's consciousness will be uploaded and live happily and freely for eternity.

I like the idea of being a virtual being but I don't want to look like a Square creature.



How about use a world with better graphics. I don't want to look like this.



How about Sims 4? It looks like a more ideal world to upload dead people to.

Elon Musk is kind of a weird dude isn't he? But I guess he got where he is by thinking outside of the box. But this sounds really weird to me.

I know there are other companies trying to do consciousness upload like Nectomy and a Start up in Russia. Maybe he is just going to use the engine of Minecraft and not really minecraft itself. I hope he finds something with better graphics. Imagine living in a world where everything is blocky.
