I made a discussion earlier on how parents should convince their kids to learn robotics. Coding is a different field but its one of the pathways to billions, I remember a billionaire who just learned how to code and skips college altogether. He just created a software and boom he is a billionaire.

Yeah, you can try out Mochi and report your experience with it if you'd like. Maybe you could write more about MBot and MicroBit too.

I really admire such cool arduino robotics blocks that can be reconfigured and rearranged. It is a pity that we haven't had them during my high school days. They are really some great way to introduce coding to a teenager or even a child.

More children needs to be exposed with this since robotics is the career of the future as robots are stealing jobs. Even prostitutes will lose their jobs because there are robot prostitutes now.

Here you can see how kids from 7th grade (13 years old) made a piggy bank with microbit. When you add some Money into piggy bank it shows you how much did you add and on press of button A it will show you sum of all Money into piggy bank.

Video is on Croatian language but I hope you will like it.

Here is tutorial how to make it.

I think in time it will become the norm. No doubt we are moving in this direction and no better ones to be educated on this than the youths. The earlier they start, the easier it will be to master later on.

Yeah the knowledge of robotics should start with childhood so the children will grow up to adjust to the new world of automation and not become a victim of it.

They will be the ones living in that world after all. It seems easier to retain things at this age too. Don't you think? I've noticed this when comparing toddlers and adults learning an entirely different language.

Mbot, Mochi, Microbit - they all start from same tech called Arduino. Arduino is small board for making small Electronic Devices. You can attach many additional sensors to it. You can buy enitre smaller arduino set for 10$.

The concept sounds interesting. However aren't ages 3 to 6 meant to be fun and isn't this system making them feel more pressurized?

No, it's done in such a fun way, they won't even realize it's not only a game. :) They are following activities organized by the robot and in the process learning some cool facts and developing some skills. They'll like the idea of the robot buddy.

Then, it is fine. Unduly burdening the kids is not a good thing!

I think it is better to them if they play with this tech, than just watch Youtube or play videos games. If they don't like this, they can go out and play self with ball or draw something on paper. In this age is worst just leave kid with Youtube and video games.

People got into the habit of leaving them in the hands of YouTube. That's how things like Elsagate came in under disguise and caused the madness it did. I think this is a better option too, as it's clear what it's all about and you can even test it out to see how well it delivers on its promises. With YouTube, there's really no telling what's coming up next.

Of it is not good. Some people think they should start with C++ or C# or math. If we start with it, we will not get anything from them in Science. They will hate math and tech. They are to green for math equations.
