Introducing Gabb, the most boring smart phone in existence.

Postby Netherrealmer » 27 Jan 2020, 11:57

You might as well buy an old Nokia phone instead. There is a New Smartphone in town. It is called Gabb, All it can do is call and text.

It cannot use internet. It is created to protect children from the evils on the internet, so this thing cannot install apps neither. Kids are embarrassed to use a flip phone, so owning a Gab can give their classmates an illusion they are using an Android. It is suppose to protect children from predators.

Then why is it called a Smartphone? It's probably better to teach them that they don't need a smartphone than to 'trick' them into thinking they have one. Or to show others that they have one that looks like a smartphone. :?

If you are a child and you bring this to school,

you will be the center of unwanted attention and laughter.

With this, they can blend in. Oh I forgot they can make selfies and send pictures with it it too but via text. It is marketed to religious parents.

It looks like this one doesn't even have those standard messaging apps. He's saying it's just regular text message with no internet at all. So the one you saw could send picture messages? I was reading the site of this one here and they said not even that feature it has.
