Last year we saw many 5G opponents like it cause cancer, cancer on plants, headache. Many of them say how 4G is enough and we don't need now.

What happend this year?

Corona make many of us must work from home or at least stay at home. That bring many users spend much more time online. In tech way traffic rise up so much even Netflix recomend users watch movies in lower quality, many people experience slower Internet, infrastructure can barely hold such is demand.

In all that chaos I didn't read any 5G opponent now. Looks when they saw they need better speed which can 5G bring, they stop thinking about it as bad.

What do you think? Where they are hidding now'

From what I know, at this moment only East Asia have 5g. South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

Finland also implement it in some part. But I can't read anything more about it. I see smartphones in stores which will support 5G so it means it will come. Nobody complain anything about it.

5G will gradually expand. I think that the waves used in mobile communication might not be free of radiation and disease causing properties, but factors like polluted land, air and water, erratic lifestyles, bad eating habits, inactivity are much more serious factors causing High B.P, Diabetes, Cancer, Heart problems etc.
The radio/mobile comm. waves factor might be less than 1%.
So it is better that more effort be put in 5G.
But moderation in using computers, mobiles etc is always to the discretion of an individual!

They said the same thing while moving from 2G to 3G, but 3G came,and the same thing when the telecom sector adopted 4G. Unless the experts get solid evidence against radio waves, I think the evolution of 5G will happen unhindered.

True but many opponents show 5G almost as same treat as corona in that time. Every day were news about 5G bad influence on people, trees, animals.

The Wuhan province, from where the virus allegedly spread first, is said to be a 5G hub. But I believe, it is not correct to connect the virus with 5G and see it just a rather coincidence.

In my area we don't have 5G hub but we still have virus. Neither scientist didn't connect 5G with virus. Wuhan have many labs which include those with 5G.

Idiots are saying that 5G is spreading CV19. This weekend 4 5G masts have been set on fire in the UK. At least they're not setting fire to chinese takeaways.

Lie? I have three relatives who are all doctors who were exposed to the virus.
In our community, one died from the virus.

I think the internet will increase its importance, especially during this period, due to coronavirus. Maybe 5G also means radiation problems. But the internet is fast starting to be a condition that must be met in order to connect with the rest of the world first. The signal drops on the phone, I fall off the net, and I didn't have that. Everything happens because of the overloaded network. I think it will be up to 5G.

Indeed. People are saying to boycott chinese goods. That would be boycotting everything ever made apart from high end swiss watches. Even a German built car will have Chinese components in it!
