This is really useful and I'm going to tell you why. Someone stole my Facebook login details years ago and used my account to do some random things like liking random pages, joining random groups on Facebook. Luckily Facebook locked my account and sent me a link to my email to help me out.
So using two-step authentication would protect your accounts or emails from getting hacked or used without your permission.

Not having the same passwords and username will save you from hacking, having a complicated password will save you from hacking, 2 step verification is a very irritating process.

This is a new security step for me. If the site where I have the account requires then I use it. If not I don't take that extra step.

At some site like Airtm it is compulsory to withdraw more than 1 $

I think I have seen two step authentication first in securing Google account. It is a cumbersome process but quite hack-proof.I don't use two-step authentication unless I am doing netbanking where I have to go through double authentication while depositing and withdrawing.

For two step authentication,do you provide your mobile number to Airtm.

It can help you but it can't protect you 100%. There is no 100% secure system.

It's absolutely useful but I dislike it. My university has forced it on students and faculty so that you have to get a text and reply with it to a code. Unfortunately the campus doesn't have great service, so if I'm at the library, I basically cannot get onto any university websites to do homework or send e-mails unless I'm sitting by a window.

I have other security methods on everything, but not a fan of two-step.

And later they send you phone number to some advertising company and you start receiving messages on viber or whatsapp.

Yes as much as possible. I want to make sure by using mobile verification. So if they knew my email and password, they still cannot enter my account because they do not know the code that had been sent on my phone. ;)

Yup. It's an added protection. I use 2SA to protect my main e-mail account and lately, I also used it on my FB and twitter accounts. Usually, Google and FB would only use it if you log in using a different device. Or if someone tries to log in from a different device.

Yes. I use two step verification to protect most of my accounts. I learnt its importance when my facebook account was hacked.

Yes, I do use 2 step verification to protect my accounts. It's kinda feel safe but I find it quite annoying sometimes.
