There is this Bitcoin scammer who hacks Youtube channels and Youtube is not doing anything to help channel owners

Postby Netherrealmer » 06 Apr 2020, 23:25

One of my favorite Youtube channels is toptenz, It is very informative and fun to watch. One day I was looking at the channels I am subscribed to and There is a channel I dont remember. its a channel called "coinbase pro" The moment I clicked it, I was shocked it is toptenz and it got hacked for just one hour. The name of the channel got changed.

Apparently this bitcoin scammer hacks channels then streams a never ending looping video about bitcoins.

Another notorious account thief is a CHristian channel preaching Christian values. Basically this channel steals channels with thousands of subscribers and the owner of the channels never got their channels back.

The Elsagate channels are also stealing accounts as well.

I had something similar happen to me one time on YouTube. I was confused because I didn't really use my channel. The problem went away when Google Plus went away. My channel was linked to my Google Plus account.

There is this Christian Preacher named Joyce Meyer and her followers had hacked multiple Youtube channels on her behalf, deleted their videos and replaced with videos of her teaching Christian Values.

One of the Iconic channels on Youtube, Keyboard cat got hacked by coinbase too. The Hackers who spread Joyce Myer videos targets channels with large subscriber base then replace their videos with her videos. Do they really expect people change religions with that approach. :wtf:

It's not about The Great Commission. They are not going into all the world to share the Good News and save souls. It's about money!

God's work is supported by free will gift offerings from the believers. Nonbelievers are not asked and are not expected to make offerings to support the church's spiritual mission or benevolent activities or acts of charity. If a nonbeliever wants to donate or give alms (like how Cornelius who was a Gentile gave alms to the Jewish people) that is their choice. It is NOT required. However, the church was set up to be self-sustaining and funds are not to be obtained via fraud, theft or other similar means.

Many fans are angry with Youtube right now because now they either let the hackers keep the channel or delete the channel without giving it back to the owner unless the owner's complaint got viral.

Joyce Meyer supporters are also stealing facebook accounts. So how do they make these traps?

The hacker will email you, pretending to be Google, saying someone logged in with your account. If you didn't check where the email came from, the email looks real. They have this link where you have to click to "keep your account safe" you are ordered to click that account and log in. That is the trap where the hacker will know your password.

Thanks for letting me know how it's done. Fortunately for me, I am in such a rut with the way that I do things every day, that when I get something out of the ordinary like that I ignore it. I think to myself: 'If whoever sent this knew my dull and boring routine they would know they couldn't trick me.' I am such a boring person. If someone had a job tailing me or surveilling me they would quit! They would put in their resignation letter "The job was too boring! After an hour I had enough!"

This girl never got her account back until now and the google support had been very rude to her. Google wanted to give her back her account but with all the videos deleted so they can get it the lazy way.

Youtube support is running around the bushes with her and they only give her priority when she got viral thanks to the help of Gigi Hadid who happens to be her fan.

Well it sure helps to have a celebrity as your fan.

But frankly I have never found Google's Help to be very helpful for any of their products. YouTube is no exception. When it comes to Customer Support GOOGLE SUCKS!!

The least they could do is give the lady back her fan base. Hey! It was her videos. She could probably make new videos that are even better! But for her to have to start from scratch and rebuild everything all over again?

I don't know why when it comes to business dealings that many companies don't think kindness and compassion and fairness exist.

It seems to me though that her fans should have been very upset as well. If I clicked on one channel and got something that wasn't what I expected or was looking for I would click Unsubscribe. I might even leave a comment at that channel asking "Hey! What happened to ___? Give me the link so I can go to the real channel." :?

She finally have her channel back with all remaining subscribers intact except from the 15 million who unsubscribe but all the videos are gone. Many Professional hackers said Youtube is capable to bring back all of her videos but those videos are way too many because she has been a Youtuber since she was 14 years old and she is now on her mid twenties. They just promised that her account is more secure than ever.
