Screen refresh hazard

Postby Sojourn » 02 May 2020, 09:49

I don't know whether you get it or not.But everytime the screen refreshes,I feel a mild headache. It causes quick eye fatigue too.I would have really liked if all the webpages on the internet used AJAX technology which loads and update contents in the background without refreshing the screen, but I know it is not possible everywhere.

Do you get this too? If you do,did you think of any workaround.

Seriously,it causes eye strain too.I wish there is a browser extension that would magically solve the issue.

I think the problem I'm having with my eyes is coming from old age. I started wearing reading glasses years ago. The screen images blur and I have to refocus a lot.

Maybe this link will help.

I don't get any headache but simply I don't like it. Looks Windows have some automatic process for refresh since when I swith tabs or programs, task bar is refereshing it self. I always thinks something is installing in backgorund, update or some programs which I didn't give permission.

Did you disabe automatic refresh of tab if you were inactive some time in it? Sometimes I stop series and leave it in tab. When I come to tab again, it refresh itself and I forget where did I stop.

Do you have migraine? If you have, they you will be a bit more sensitive to light flickers and it could trigger a headache.

You can close your eyes before pressing the refresh button. A little aspirin may also help.

Didn't knew that.I belong to that category of people who thought it to refresh the ram and speed up the computer.
