Sandia National Laboratories has developed a new type of wind turbine called AeroMine. This is a much smaller form of wind farm without blades. It is 3-4 meters high, so it's much easier to install and requires less space. AeroMINE has fewer moving parts than conventional wind turbines, so it's less prone to breakdowns.
Tests are coming in next months so we will see voltage output and check how useful can be.
This is even better since now ecologists cannot protest like in the case of conventional wind farms where blades are considered to be dangerous to birds.
What do you think about this?
