I don't what Sony is thinking. The Last of Us is Sony's most award winning game because of it's intense action and horror gameplay and Oscar bait plot. In fact it will be adapted into a movie.



It is a love story but not the romantic kind, The Paternal kind. It is about Joel, a mercenary in a fungus zombie apocalypse world. Who was task to escort this 14 year old girl named Ellie because she is immune from the fungi, so the vaccine can be made from her. At first they dont get a long, Joel is a conservative old man, Ellie is a lesbian but in the end they loved each other as Father and daughter because Joel lost his daughter years ago when the pandemic started and Ellie grew up never experiencing parental love.

On the game you get to play as both of them, together they battle zombies and evil humans.

I was so excited that there is going to be a sequel and people assumed the main character will be now Ellie as an adult. I was so excited, I mean look at Ellie, she looks pretty as an adult.

Sony decided to make Ellie the antagonist of the game and the main character will be a new character named Abby. So basically Sony wants the player to kill the character they fell in love with this new character they don't care about.

The main character of the game is Abby, the daughter of one of the random goons we killed on the first game wanting revenge for her generic NPC father.


So Sony want me to kill character I fell in love with in a Bossfight with a character I don't care about.

I am not sure if I want to play this sequel. The first game won lots of awards, sells million of copies and suddenly they did this.Fans are angry right now because they want to buy this game to play as Ellie and Joel and not to kill them using this new character.

It is really hard to accept if your favorite character or protagonist turned into an antagonist. Just like if Harry Potter is turned into a bad guy with ulterior motive and Lord Voldemort finally comes up as the good guy.People who swooned over Harry would set the books on fire and may even shut down the release of the movie.

The Backlash might damage the sales of the game. They better change the game for the last minute. Who the hell thinks its a good idea to make the original characters the antagonist for a very unlikable new character.



freaking Resident evil also follows suit. Chris Redfield, the original Hero of Resident evil 1 is now the villain of Resident evil 8.

It's controversial but then again these guys might have not considered the fandom before making such decisions on the plot.

Some people are obsessed with specific characters for particular franchises so they are just tarnishing the characters.

Now Capcom did the Same with Resident evil. Chris Redfield the protagonist of Resident evil 1,Code Veronica,5 and 6 is a villain in Resident evil 8. He is always heroic but they run out of ideas.
