Bluetooth problem

Postby Sojourn » 09 May 2020, 05:43

So,its my dad's smartphone that is behaving erratically for quite a few days. The bluetooth is getting switched on automatically no matter how many times I manually turn it off.Consequently,it is draining battery faster too and dad needs to recharge his phone more often.I did a cold reboot to see if it goes away but nah,it is still there.Checked with the virus scanner on the phone, nothing being reported.I've seen that dad doesn't notice what apps are getting sideloaded and probably they are the culprits.Have you faced or heard about this problem before?

I encountered that before and what I did to fix it is to factory reset. If all else fail, go to a repair shop

Hmm,quite a desperate attempt but if all fails,I will try this.Let's first remove some bloated apps on his device.

Hope this hasn't happened. This phone is not much old.The repair shops are closed now,so I have to try something myself to solve this problem.

Have you installed any apps before this started? Or have you paired any devices lately?
