What I have been given to understand when it comes to low-ball cost ways to attract visitors to your blog/website is that one should pay attention to the thematic forums. One must select at least five reputable and attended conferences, the theme of which intersects with the theme of your blog/website. One needs to publish at least 10 posts with the announcements of some of your articles, and in the end you will get a pretty decent increase in traffic. Do you agree with it? What additional input can you give in this regard?

I've come across some sites that claim they can generate traffic for sites for a fee. But I have yet to engage any of them because the reviews are not always good. Plus they don't come cheap. So it'll be interesting to see what other people have to offer.

Trafiice exchanges sites don't bring real users on your site. Traffic from those site is generated mostly by bot. Such traffic is easily discovered and advertiser network will ban your site.

Good traffic is traffice from real users. It comes from social media or users who find your site on search engine results.
