Video Editing Software?

Postby Masterminor » 02 Jun 2020, 21:38

I use Hitfilms Express 14 to edit my content that I make for youtube, it's pretty easy to learn and use with some clicking around or by asking in the support forum for help. It's free to use with the ability to buy premium add on features. But don't worry, you get all the basics and you can even export in 1080p for free.

What if anything do you use and what can it do?

I use Sony Vegas. It gives me the ability green screen and add some special effects. It has some great filters too.

You can use Filmora as free but you will get their watermark at start and end of video.

We have used Filmora, Video Guru as well as Wonder video. Each of these has some specific feature which are not there are in the other.
I have also heard about KineMaster as well as Power Director, but have not used them.

To get rid of watermark, you need to make a purchase. But yes, if we do not want to spend too much, the watermark is not something that is very bad.

If you are a starter, you can learn videos editing easy way by Windows Movie Maker and it's free.

But as for my experience, I would suggest, Adobe Premiere Pro for professionals to start editing their videos. It is a very creative tool.

I use premiere pro for my video editing and its served me very well. It has many features to do good editing and supports very high resolution videos which is very good for posting on youtube. Premiere pro runs smoothly on good PC which makes video editing very easy

I have only used Movie Maker , Premiere Pro and the iMovie on Apple. I need to watch more advanced guides for premiere pro as I'm not up to date on efficient usage of newer versions.

I am currently using the camtasia for desktop record and editing. Also I think Movavi and Filmora are two good apps to work with as well.

I'm using SlideShow Creator (it's a free tool) and I'm sticking very well with it. I used SlideShow to build up all my e-book trailers and I'm satisfied. One time I used windows app photo too, as it had what I needed. This latter was for an e-book trailer for a future publishing.
