If I remember your main character is female so find some lewd yet advertiser friendly pics of her. It doesn't matter if it demonetized since you are building fan base at this moment.

That may help bait more views. But does anyone know whether it affects monetization application or does Youtube just screen a couple of more recent videos ?

You don't need to worry about monetization if you are in building the fanbase phase you wont make money from early videos. Once you have fanbase then you can transition to monetization, you will be using more conservative thumbnails.

then when money comes be nice and no more big hooters on the thumnails lol

You just need to learn some basic photoshop skills so you can learn to make thumbnails.

I think this might be the time to get back into it then lol.
For now I will try just selling my viewers on my channel..
if they get my youtube to 1000 subs there will be give aways..
i did some giveaways.. but kind of lost motivation to do them.
when I saw I need 10,000 follows to get the ads on my videos lol
but found a way to monetize for now which is good.

a try as its so easy now to start getting paid on there.

Guys Twitch is the king of gaming now.
forget 1000 follows on youtube.. forget 10 000 follows on facebook.
Which facebook should be paying me just because I get a lot of views already..
why do I need to wait till 10 000 follows?
I will still make videos and post pics on facebook since its easy to gain follows that way...
but i probably only stream on twitch now..
but i am thinking of streaming on facebook then telling people they need to follow me on twitch
to get giveaways..
Twitch is easy to get monetized.. just 50 follows... stream 8 hours a month
and then get i think 6 views per shows.. that is so easy.
I don't see why youtube and facebook have such stupid requirements to even get started lol
I think all gamers should just move to twitch
