Goodbye Mixer

Postby Netherrealmer » 23 Jun 2020, 10:59

Mixer streamers are now moving on to Twitch because they merged with facebook gaming and Facebook decided to dissolve and absorb mixer. Remember Ninja signed a lifetime streaming contract with Mixer and they paid him 30 million dollars? Guess what he is back to Twitch because Mixer will be gone . Its like a WWE/WCW situation where WWE purchased WCW and then closed it down. YUp Facebook purchased Mixer just to close it down and make people stream on facebook instead.

Microsoft decided to sell Mixer to facebook.

And Facebook didn't took Ninja contract to? I don't think it is easy for him to just jump on another platform when he got such good contract.

I wonder how their viewers would respond to their favorite steamers moving to different platforms. I am sure they will experience a huge decrease in views. The connection at Facebook is awful. They don't care about their streaming program. For other streamers, there's a real malaise about moving to twitch after years of conflicting action against racism and sexism. Twitch may ban those involved but the company is refusing to share details of every little thing

Facebook is good at one thing - buying and ruining other social media platforms.
