Broken laptop

Postby yakuma » 23 Jun 2020, 14:50

I have this laptop that I have owned for years already. It still works well except for the up and down keys. Does anyone know how to fix those keys?

Such thinkgs is hard to fix. Try add something below it. Maybe just lost some contact. I hope it is not sensor on motherboard for those two keys. Those things is not worth fixing.

You need to go to a repair center if you have no background on computer repairs. if you are too broke to afford repairing, Use the arrow keys of of the number pad by activating Numlock.

The keyboard is the sole largest beneficial peripheral gadget in a PC. The arrow keys were used to move the pointer to the spot of introduction contrary to the clarified method of utilizing a mouse. The arrow keys keep their significance and are presently used in Computer games to shift characters and in several applications to shift the cursor amidst several things. Nevertheless, mainly in computer games, the left and up key, down and right or such like differences are anticipated to maneuver the character crossways.

First, be certain that you don't possess anything clinging in the keyboard. Dirt, dust, remains that might be obstructing those keys. Also, attempt attaching an exterior keyboard and see if it operates well. If it does, then it might be the keys individually that are the problem. Besides, if your gadget uses one, you might fancy attempting upgrading the Synaptics Driver if the stated above don't help.

To set up an external keyboard? Usually the system can automatically detect and install the keyboard without any set-up.
